Television
I am made out of glass.
That’s why I'm often so concerned about CCTV cameras.
I can feel their waves enter me and snoop around, because I'm really sensitive.
But people don’t even see me, they just bump into me.
The waves don’t, the waves always penetrate
so i’m violated quite often.
Kiss me, darling, a grab at the waist and a passionate scene plays on a TV screen.
I’ve never really given it much thought
But I’ve caressed it often, the TV, the slight curve of it, the slight noise of it.
The noise of it all.
The noise always takes me out.
When words step forward I grow weak
And in an empty space I fear my own hunger.
I forgot what it’s called.
Dead standing, I realize I am my own soul hovering above and behind a great big mess of glass
It takes a long time to reform my body.
It’s very tiring.
If I didn't have my body then the waves would just kill me.
My soul is a mere piece of string, it would never survive.
A container of sorts is required for every object, otherwise it isn’t an object it’s just a fad.
But because I don’t have functioning organs, as a piece of string, sometimes the waves come in
like shocks
(there’s something like a skeletal system in all of this)
And it pricks me like a fork scraping a pan, and it hurts but not for long
So that we can forget the pain.
